The easiest way I know of (and what the shop did to mine before I bought it) was: Drain the pan, and refill with fresh. Disconnect the line from the torque converter to the cooler. Put a hose on the end of the line, directed into a large bucket. Open about 5-6 qts of fresh fluid. Start the engine and as the old fluid is being pumped into the bucket, pour fresh into the filler (dipstick) tube. When the color changes, or tempurate changes, or you've run though most of the fluid, shut the engine off. Reattach line, and top off the fluid. Dick in Falls Church
