I have just found out that my Saab 900 turbo 1989 has had a 900 non-turbo manual gearbox fitted at some time. Are there any differences between turbo and non-turbo 'boxes? Is the non-turbo box as strong? Also, the righthand driveshaft does not go very deep into the inner driver. Is this because 900 non-turbo transmissions require longer driveshafts than turbo transmissions? Any help much appreciated, Cheers, Alan.
