Yeah, I forgot about the "record at 1x" thing... I did that too as I recall. CD brand often has a LOT to do with quality recording... but I've realized recently that age of the burner makes a difference too... my old Yamaha has so many "miles on the clock" that I think it's getting to the point that it's the only CD player in the world that can actually READ the CD's it burns <sigh> Guess it's time to go CD burner shopping ;) -- Gavin Haslett thumper_svxnopsamo.com "The early bird gets the worm...
