Subject: How do I reset Radio after dead battery?



Hi all, I have a 1992 9000CD with just an AM/FM Cassette factory installed
radio (Clarion, I believe).  After replacing the battery, the radio came up
saying "CODE" - I made the mistake of just trying 1111 - and now, even
though I have found what I believe to be the correct code - can't seem to
clear the "1111" from the display to give it another try.  Unfortunately, I
don't have the manual for the radio, as I didn't buy this car new.

Can anyone tell me the sequence of entering another code for this radio?
