In the morning, after the car has been sitting all night or if the daytime temperature does not get above25 degrees F, the car starts with one turn of the key. When the car is warm, i.e. shutoff in the last 15 minutes it also start with one turn of the key. Let the daytime temperature get above 35 degrees and the car will not start unless I keep cranking the starter for almost 10-15 seconds if the car has been shutdown between 30 minutes to 9 hours. The problem even after sitting 9 hours tells me this is not a vapor lock problem. It seems that the engine is not firing. I can guess this is not the fuel pressure since the car starts after sitting overnight. Does it have something to do with a temperature sensor? Other than this recent problem, the car has been repair free, requiring only an $18.00 check valve on the fuel pump in the last year.
