If they "fix" it and the problem still occurs then you might be able to get the car stamped as a lemon and get a replacement (depending on local laws). Electrical problems are serious... never doubt that. A spark in the wrong place can give you a really nice warm fuzzy feeling all over... if you see what I mean! It could be something as simple as a chafed wire... possibly somewhere around the airbag module. It is possible for these wires to chafe in several places inside the steering column if not installed correctly... but that wouldn't explain the engine problems. It might also be as simple as a bad battery... get the dealership to replace that first and see if it fixes the problem. You're under warranty... so NEVER be afraid to take it back to the dealership for problems like this. Minor mechanical problems I can often live with or deal with myself... but electrical problems are notoriously difficult to trace and potentially hazardous. -- Gavin Haslett thumper_svxnopsamo.com "The early bird gets the worm...
