Why I ask, is that mine (87 9000T) is making this similar sound just as the alternator fan belt starts, then stops slipping. On cold mornings the voltage will be low, fan belt squeals, the "hard drive spins up", then the voltage is back to 13.6. Just curious, let me know please... -chris aultnopsamelnetworks.com (p.s.
