Subject: '91 9000 Fuel Computer.

Does anyone know how accurate the dashboard Fuel Computer is supposed to be on a 9000. I understand the Fuel Tank capacity on a 9000 is around 60litres, and yet when I fill the tank I can never put more than 44 litres in. At this point (before filling) the computer says that I have enough fuel left for around 30 miles, about 5 litres. Can anyone explain what's going on? How does the computer measure the fuel left in the tank? If it's from the gauge sender unit, that must render the calculations next to useless! Pete. Gloucester UK 9000S 2.3 Turbo.
