Russ, Replace the timing chain, check for vacum leaks, replace plugs, plug wires, rototr & cap, air filter and catalytic con. The turbo could be why it's running rough if it misses on hard acceleration, and you hear a pronounced high pitched whine. At 220K you're just getting it broken in !!!
