Subject: 9-5 Wagon Climate control problem

Should I be able to independently adjust the temperature settings of both left and right front seats when the ACC is not set to "Auto"? And why does "Auto" turn off (or at least disappear from the ACC display) when choosing to have the air flow come right at you rather than directed at the legs? While driving home this afternoon, my wife (sitting on the passenger side) noted that the ACC system did not produce warm air at all unless the temp was 78 degrees F. or higher (this, in New York City....and the temp was about 50 here today); at any lower setting the air was cool. I have noticed that my ACC display panel blanked out several times during the winter......and now wonder if some module must be replaced, perhaps at the same time they (hopefully, third complaint) replace my door seals!
