For the first few years, I'd expect a main dealer service history. otherwise a prospective purchaser is relying on your word that you did the right things at the right time. There's also processing recalls and faults; I haven't any experience with Saabs for that, but the Volvo I had from new had several things changed at services (e.g. the steering column) without me having to learn about them.
