Help! I have a 1993 900s. I am experiencing a strange electrical problem. It occurs mostly when I stepp on the brakes, but other switches and events can cause it also. When I step on the brakes, the lights and everthing in thre car blinks, and sometimes the whole car will shut off. My take on it is that some how at the moment of whatever I switch, ie, windows, or brakes, either the alternator or regulator isn't putting out enough power and it is trying to switch over. Has anyone ever experienced this, and do you have any suggestions before I take it in to the dealer. If it is simply replace the alternator I can do that.
