If the former, you're going to pay anyway :-( but if the latter, you should be able to get a decent introductory discount for a female driver. Have you tried the broker on the Saab Owner's Club pages? What have you been quoted? Where do you live? (This makes a big difference) Who have you tried? The direct people probably won't be the best because they go for the "normal" case and quote high premiums outside of that, but if you want to give them a go Axa Direct and Norwich Union Direct have been good for us. Hmm. A quick online quote at NU says £1277 for someone living in Cambridge. Ouch. But I'll bet it's a lot less than that should you phone up (the online version has always been well over for us). P.
