I looked at a 90 900 3 dr with 126K mi. The body is in good shape. the problem is that the current owner said that he was driving along, there was a loud noise and the wheels stopped turning. He had it towed home. He says that if you let out the clutch it will stall. He wants $1K OBO. I can't see how to make the numbers work. At $1K to him and $2K for a used transmission ( it also needs a winshield ) I'm probably up to $3500 plus $500 for who knows what. ( he paid $4800 18 mo ago to set an upper bound) Am I overlooking anything? Could the transmission be only $500 broke? Greg Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.
