Subject: 900 turbo - power loss...

I recently had my '87 900 16t engine replaced with a 1990 16t. I now seem to have a problem with turbo boost not getting through to the engine, ie - plenty of boost but the power tails off (the boost needle stays high) and I don't seem to get that 'kick in the pants' feeling anymore. I've checked hoses and they seem ok. One thing I need to get checked out is the wiring harness 'on the side of the dist cap'. The wire has become exposed and looks to me a bit too green. Other than this, I can only think that the apc may need readjusting. Any ideas/suggestions would be appreciated.... Cheers bp
