If you're running low-profile, V- or Z-rated tires, the firm ride may be something you'll have to live with. If they are 50- of 55-series tires, you should run at least 36 psi all around. I use 40 front, 36 rear on Firestone SZ-50's, and the ride is firm but acceptable. You could run the pressure down 'til it feels right, but below spec will likely increase wear, especially on the edges of the tread.
