Do you want to adopt another child? I think it is absolutely wonderful that you care about your son and have the money to pay for college and a new Saab. Just one thing to remember about FWD cars and snow - ground clearance! I learned the hard way that FWD cars can pull themselves into deep snow get stuck. I could not back out and was digging out while a RWD van with the ground clearance drove by without any problems. Eventually I got smart, I learned to use four real snow tires and not drive when the snow was over the bumper of the car. If you must drive in deep snow, I would think about finding an appropriate vehicle. Once the roads are plowed, the Saab is a great car and a safe car - go for it! cricket wrote: > Hi- > I am thinking of buying my son, a college student, a 2000 9-3 that I found > in our local dealership- a good deal with the 3.9% financing.
