Basically replacing the DI unit is analogous to replacing the distributor cap and rotor on an older car. It ensures that you get a strong spark so that all of the fuel is ignited. If not all of it is ignited, the computer will change the air/fuel mixture, resulting in poor mileage. Paul (Remove "spamthis" to reply)
