I have read a bit about the geet system. My mistake, you're right, they don't call it a catalyst. Other previous companies called stuff like this a fuel catalyst, but they don't... Seriously though, think about it: how can you possibly increase fuel economy by 200%+? Once the fuel mixture is put into the cylinder, it is a function of the engine, not the induction system, to see how efficiently it will convert chemical energy to work. The running on Pepsi thing is what gets me... :-) If a 12 oz. can of Pepsi has 160 Calories of energy (which are actually kilocalories), thats about 420kJ in a 350cc can. The same amount of octane (not gasoline, granted, but good enough for comparison) has over 11000kJ. I'm telling ya, if this thing can do it, this is an awfully large efficiency increase factor! Seeing that current combustion engines are about 15% or so efficient, that means this thing is over 100% efficient! Wow - it's making energy! Forget that whole Conservation of Energy stuff - this Geet thing is above that! Yah, I know I left a bunch of factors out in the above comparison, but just to get a taste of how ridiculous it is... I hear snake oil has similar properties... :-) Shad Christopher Phelan <ctp2nopsamgh.edu> wrote in message news:38E7A7EC.961EAFFAnopsamgh.edu... > They weren't talking about catalysts in the least, the geet system is an entirly > diffent method of introducing fuel into your engine, not a catalyst at all. > Maybe snake oil still, but read up before calling names . . . > > Shad Laws wrote: > > > Smells like snake oil.....
