Subject: Re: Purchase Saab Convertable

I made myself an expert cause Iīm curently driving a 1993 900 turbo convertible and I want to switch to a 9-3 convertible for some years - but I see no reason why to do so after numerous test drives. When you have ever driven a classical 900 with road holding kit then there are only very few cars that are easier to throw around a corner - and the 93 is not one of them, maybee the Viggen - ok, but the convertibles have a too soft body. (the old 900 has two control arms like a racing car and is very neutral (especially convertible), the 900(2) has a McPherson suspension and is understeering) And when you have a look at "http://www.euroncap.com/" then you can the 9-3 and the 9-5 crash behaviour! I like Saabs and especially the new 9-5 but Iīm counting the days till the new 9-3 will arrive (2002) - and defnitily: the 900(2) V6 was not successfully (I didnīt wanted to write something else). Greetings, RCS kwbrewer > Who made you the expert?.................and what do you mean especially the > V6,road holing and crash behavior ?
