You refilled it ... did the new fluid stay or did it disappear as well? you certianly have air in the system now, since the master was empty. So you need to bleed the system .. you dont NEED to pressure bleed it .. I use a hand vacum pump to pull the fluid. I have also used the "two-man approach" however the important thing is to find out where it went? Check the calipers ... they might be leaking too. How many miles on the car is around 120k you might as well replace/rebuild the front calipers AND the master cylinder.
