Subject: Noisy gearchange when cold ??

I've noticed on my 1995 900i that on the cold mornings (0 degrees in the UK at the moment) moving into 1st gear feels sort of "squeltchy", although the change is smooth it is a little noisy (hard to describe), after around 15 minutes everything is fine. Likewise when I get into the car in the afternoon when it's much warmer the problem dissapears. As it seems to be related to the temperature am I right in assuming it's just to do with the box warming up or should I be concerned ? Thanks in advance Paul -- Paul.Hutchingsnopsam.co.uk
