I'd have to say it's a crap shoot. we bought our first turbo 4 years ago. at that time, the blades were off kilter (no issues with power) but we were worried that the turbo would die quickly. anyway, the turbo has outlasted the car (accident) and is now in another of our saabs. no problems what so ever even though you still hear the blades.
