Subject: cd changer question

I just bought an 1995 Saab 900s and had some questions about the sound system, I want to keep the factory look but the car has not CD player the dealer wanted 520$ to install a CD player (6 disc) but that seems a bit steep, am I right? The stereo in the car has the controls for a CD player so should I go to some other audio place and just buy a CD changer? are there certain specifications that I must follow, when looking for one, can I get a 12 disc or must it be a 6 disc. And from other posts I have gathered that a clarion is the company that I should get cause they make the in dash system. Or should I just get the dealer to install one of Saabs. Thanks ahead of time. Tory p.s. As you can tell I am not going to install it ill just mess something up I know nothing about this sort of thing.
