I've just learned to live with the flaky gas guage on my 88 900. It is a very common problem with the classic 900s that I can't be bothered to spend money on. Mine constantly reads atleast a quarter tank too low (but jumps around occasionally), so I've learned to live by the trip meter. Passengers sometimes get concerned when we start off with the guage reading below empty, but its all part of the Saab fun. I'm a math major, so doing the consumption calculations in my head keeps my arithmetic skills sharp 8) Steve On Sun, 16 Apr 2000, Nate t.
