Sounds like this could be the turbo whining.  See if you can corolated
the sound to the turbo boost gauge.  As the needle rises and falls the
noise should appear and disappear.  This is normal but should not be
loud enough to be disturbing.  This may be more prevelant in Aero's
for I beleive they are a higher pressure turbo.  Wecome to the world
of Saabs.
