If you check the coolant reservoir under the hood you might see the level of the fluid, before the car has warmed up, below the horizontal "cold" mark on the plastic shell. This happened very slowly and I only noticed it since I have a habit of checking fluids every week. The SID indicator did indeed light up a few times. I used to top up the antifreeze, but after a while it got to be a nuisance and I took it to the dealer. The dealer found that a gasket was leaking, very slowly. A fairly quick repair solved the problem. Fortunately for me it was still under warranty. I hope this helps you find the problem with your car. Regards, V
