Does anyone know whether Mobil1 Synthetic will work in an '86 900 turbo manual transmission? The alt. spec. in the owners manual says GL-4 or GL-5 will substitute. I do know that GL-5 is NOT an acceptable substitute for GL-4 requirements, that comes from Mobil. Is anyone running synthetic lube in their trans successfully? What brand/grade is it? Thank you......
