The prewired cable is located behind the carpet on the left side. > snip Be warned -- the CD cable is not always pre-installed. In my early-production '94 900S, there was no cable in the trunk! I ended up installing the Clarion RDC634 (which is effectively the same as the CDC635) in the glovebox. The short cable that came with the changer was plenty long to reach the socket on the back of the Saab in-dash head end unit. There is just enough wasted space at the top of the glovebox to fit the changer in. It took a little creative engineering to get it to fit -- the glovebox light had to go, and I ran the CD cable through its hole. Glovebox mounting has a big advantage: on long trips with a trunk full of luggage, I can still get at the changer to swap disks. DRC
