We run an 98 9-3 SET convertible auto and a 99 A4 2.4 Avant tiptronic. Both cars are well built but the A4 wins hands down in all areas. The Tiptronic on the Audi is years ahead of the Saab auto box. The economy is very bad on the SAAB. Them knocking 3 grand(sterling) of the list price of the SAAB ,still doesn't help! The A4 wins ( but check you have enough room in the back seats). I am saving my pennies as Audi have a new convertible out next year . elna morin wrote: > I had the same question about a year ago. I found the only A4 with any > power was the V6 plus stick shift.
