Subject: NG 900 handling

I'm looking at '96 - '98 900s, both the S and the SE. This will be my first SAAB. I drove both cars over the weekend. The turbo was a lot of fun, but I will probably go with the S, mainly because for the $$$ I have to spend I can get a very good S, but only a pretty good SE (my budget's $16.5 - $18K US). Also, the S seemed to have enough juice for my purposes. The only negative impression I had from both cars was that the handling was a little soft. I'm assuming that there are aftermarket parts (shocks, sways, springs, tires, wheels) available for these cars that will tighten up the handling. I have a couple of questions: o Does anyone have any hands-on experience with any of these? o Did it improve things? How? o Any specific suggestions to make? Or - o Should I just leave well enough alone and drive the car as is? Thanks in advance for your thoughts. BTW, I posted this from work as well through deja, they seem to be having some troubles -- sorry if it shows up twice. Cheers -
