Subject: Re: 9-5 - Abnormal Tyre wear???

I have a 98 SAAB 9-5S with approx 27,000 kms on the clock running Michelin Pilots. I have been disappointed with the tyre wear on the outside edge of the front tyres, esp passenger side. The reason given to me was the camber of the road making this side wear more and also the front wheel drive doesn't help - nothing about auto tran. Most of our driving has been in city traffic. Higher tyre pressure ( > 35 psi) seems to reduce the wear so this may have been a factor earlier on. I have rotated tyres front-back twice to even out the wear since purchasing new and had the wheels aligned every 7,000 kms. On current advice, we don't expect to get more than 35,000 kms on them before replacement. Should I be happy ?
