If you went to 60 or 65, then a reduction in wheelsize might be necessary to give the wheels free clearance. But it is in general not advisable to change the manufacurers spec in this way, since the suspension is geared to the high performance of the car. I have moved the opposite way by going from 15-195/65 to 16-205/55 on my 9000CSE. The difference in ride is only small, but the car feels slightly more stable - and more importantly, the wheels looks great. Has the car been modified ? Maybe there are alternative spring/dampers you could use, but make sure that any changes falls within the spec of your particular model, such that you don't reduce the safe handling. Johannes
