Subject: Saab 9-3 SE '00 slight give in brake pedal at rest...

Hello, I've noted that somtimes, when at rest at a stoplight, my brake pedal has some give in it: it creeps slowly towards the floor. I know that a dramatic creep, all the way down to the floor, is symptomatic of a bad cylinder. However, my Saab is only a couple weeks from purchase (manufactured in Feb of this year, I believe), and the give in the brake is a slow creep and only for a bit, not the entire distance to the floor. Does this mean I have a seal problem in my breaks, or something like that? Or is this a natural "feature" of Saab braking systems? (Should I be taking my car in for warranty work on the brakes, or just keep an eye on this to see if it "gets worse"?) -- Viktor Haag Senior Technical Writer, RIM '79 99, '89 9000T, '00 9-3 SE My opinions are my own, only.
