Dan, My brother just bought a 94 900se. It clunks when turning right and has a bit of a wander problem. Upon inspection, the top bushing/bearing for the LF shock is original and has quite a bit of radial play. The LF bushing/bearing is of a later style (like my 96 900se) and does not have the play. If these are original and have radial play, they may be the cause of your problem. (actually, I would bet on it). The best bet would be to replace them with a later style. It has been reported that this was a SAAB recall when the car was under warranty. if the customer complained and was having a problem while under warranty, they were supposedly replaced. Also, peter, it would be helpful if you stated year and model for your Saab.
