Hi, The auto box in my 9000 has a fault and if you can help, I would be grateful When motoring along at speed and then going up a hill, the gearbox will, instead of changing down, suddenly disengage and allow the engine to race away. If you then take your foot off the accelerator, the gearbox will re-engage with a jerk. The car is old (but gold) and so I cannot justify a new of fully reconditioned gearbox. Is there a quick fix - or do I need to visit a breakers and get another box?? cheers
