Sounds like you have a lemon. I'm on my third 9-5 now, and have had 2 very minor faults. Alarm kept going off on current model, and the rear passenger door locked and stayed locked on the first. That's it, on 3 brand new cars. Your experience is not typical - several of my colleagues bought 9-5s at the same time as me (we were getting Diplomatic discounts).
