Brad, You need to check your lower and upper motor mounts, as well as your shifter coupler and the coupler pin. If you are having problems shifting that is more than likely where your problem is as long as it is external and not in your 5 spd. I have an 87 9000S 5 spd, and I have had the problem with the shifter coupler twice. My lower motor mounts were replaced before I bought the car, and I replaced the uppers after I bought it. Mine has 189,700 miles on it. I use regular 10W30 Castrol in my 5 spd, with 4 oz. of Militec-1. Ken Washington 87 9000S 87 900S 83 900T
