The Air Bag warning light on my 99 9-3 SE went on about a year ago. It was diagnosed as a fault in the front passenger side air bag. Since then we've had the lights turned off manually twice, the wiring harness replaced, the computer module replaced and now the original dealer has a new air bag on order with no guaranty that this will fix the problem. All of this has necessitated eight trips to the dealer(s), three of them five-hour round-trip drives. If the next step doesn't cure the problem my only recourse would seem to be the New York State Attorney General and the "Lemon Law". Saab Customer Service is of no use whatsoever as there only answer is to "take it back to the dealer". Anyone out there have a similar problem with the warning light? Anyone have to go this far to get warranty service? Anyone have any experience with "Lemon Laws"? Any information would be greatly appreciated.
