Subject: Re: Need Help - Central locking, alarm & radio problem

Some time ago my 9000T16's battery went dead. After replacing it the alarm (which controls the central lock) stopped working with the remote. I eventually figured that the alarm uses rechargeable bateries to power it up in case a burglar disconnects the main battery. So I replaced those bateries (5 AA- size 1.2V NiCad's, not sure about the count) and the alarm has been working fine since. Maybe your car uses the same type of bateries to store the radio code and to power the alarm and they too went dead together with the car's battery. Carlos A. R.
