Sylvain, I am looking for a 1990-1993 900, and have also looked at 1994's for comparison. It seems that the going price (not necessarily asking price) has been commensurate with condition, mileage and age. The 1994 and newer body style is more expensive and it looks to be due to being a year newer. I have seen a few under US$10k, but they seem to have high mileage. I have a 1996 SE, and it is extremely well appointed with ACC, power everything, turbo, 5 speed with 43,000mi, no smoker, no nicks or dings, pristine wheels, etc. I got it for a good price if 15.3k. If you look at edmunds or CR, the 94-95 year cars had a lot of problems. mostly electrical. that is why I got a 96. This black mark may have an effect on resale prices of 94 and 95 year cars. Actually, I think that there are bargains out there with these cars, but I would collect the VIN and go to a SAAB dealer and have them run the list of what service and recalls have been performed on the car in question. I would verify that EVERYTHING works before I bought it, though. My dealer here in Columbus, OH had no problem showing me the list of what service and repair had been done on the car I was buying. There are reports of a lot of Air Conditioner problems with these newer cars. I think this may be due to the use that the compressor gets when the ACC is in effect. Without programming the ACC to be in econ mode (no A/C) as is outlined in the manual, the A/C compressor runs a lot. I have heard rumors of alternator problems, but I do not think that they are any more prevalent than the average.
