I expect this will only interest UK owners but all input welcome. On Monday 12 June, UK Minister Stephen Byers (sp?) announced what our government feels should be done about UK new car prices being so much higher than on the continent. Car makers had 30 days in which to react, then he plans to issue edicts. Has anyone seen indications that SAAB-GB will drop prices? Until recently, they and their dealers (or at least, Sabers of Norwich) have refused to entertain any further fall. Okay, this would be part of the bidding strategy in the Great Poker Game, but sooner or later they will have to stop pratting about. Opinions? -- Andrew Stephenson
