Probably not really abnormal.Depending on where you live, the reformulated gas can cost you about 10-15% mileage. If you do need an oxygen sensor, I recall (from doing my daughter's old 84) that it was a single wire. Think we used a generic and just connected the existing long wire to it. Dick in Falls Church
