Yes, your 900 should have an oxygen sensor. It should go where the plug is in the exhaust manifold pipe. My 83 900T was like that, when I bought it overseas. When I shipped it back to the States the OS had to be installed. Your's may need the three wire OS, which can be expensive, about $200. The alternative is to buy the Bosch generic 3 wire and splice it in. It is the same as the specified one, except the specified one has the necessary lead attached. You pay big money for that wire.
