Although you can't spend money on it, I'd advise you to take the car to a SAAB shop and ask for a diagnosis. Since they can do it by plugging a terminal to the car's computer (no messing around the engine) that probably can be done 'cheaply'. If the problem is serious you probably won't be able to fix it yourself and if you damage some component while trying it will surely be a serious ($$$) repair. On my 9000T the 'check engine' light came up once a few weeks after I bought it. Took it to the shop, they connected the diagnosis terminal and 5 minutes later it was fixed. It only took a screwdriver to adjust a valve. Bottom line, they did it for free. You may have the same luck. ----------------------------------------------------------- Got questions?
