I have an 87 9000S which i bought new and always keep in great shape. has automatic transmission. After a 700mile trip (mostly in rain), it has a terrible miss at idle. Normal speed and high speed are ok. Only when you come to a stop at a light does the miss occur and it seems like it will stall but always recovers, however when it happens and you start accelerating it has a definent lack of power untill say 30 mph is reached. The miss doesn't happen all the time very intermittent. Also, when its warmed up, and put in reverse, nothing happens. Allowed to sit for a short period and reverse works again. This maybe a totally different problem, but only started happening after this recent 700 mile trip. thanks
