Subject: 9-3 185hp to 205hp?



Hello all,

Have a new 9-3, USA market.. Since I'm too poor to buy the SE
which has 205hp as opposed to my 185, I was wondering..

-Is the 205hp motor similar to, or even identical to, the 185hp
 one, along the lines of the VW 1.8T putting out 150-220hp?

-Is there a 'chip' that would move me that extra 20hp for even
more torque-steerin' fun?

-Does the 205hp motor have less desirable torque/driveability?
