Clutch replacement is due to terrain, driving conditions (city/highway), and driver. It can happen at 20000 mi. or 180000 mi. To prolong the life of the clutch: 1) do not rest your foot on the clutch pedal. 2) keep away from mountains or hills and 3) live and work outside a city to minimize city driving. ;-^ (tongue firmly in cheek!)
