Chris, Did the technician replace the pilot bearing as well? I have had these make a high pitched screech as well if they are old and worn. Also, I have used a saab slave cylinder in a race car as well and had them screech due to the bearing contacting the center tube of the slave cylinder. THis is probably not what the problem is as it is all designed to fit.
