Subject: Re: Amplifer location?

And you go to Stanford??? Only kidding. I'm only bitter because they wouldn't have admitted me. First of all, do not "look under passenger seat right next to the drivers one," whatever that means. The amp is located on the side of the center console on the passenger side, under the glove compartment. In other words, if a passenger were riding in the passenger seat the amp would be next to his or her left shin, behind the plastic trim panel. Notice the slight bulge in the panel made to accommodate the amplifier. To get to the amp you'll need to remove 2 or 3 screws which hold the trim panel in place. To get at one of the screws, as I recall, it's useful to have the glove box door open. I have no idea what kind of inputs or outputs the amp has because there isn't an amp in my 900S. I CAN tell you it must be a small amp, because the mounting location would not accommodate a large amp. And we all know, deep down, that small amps are for weenies. If you're serious about sound clarity, I'm sure you'll want to install a larger more powerful amp, especially if you have any personal insecurities. Here at Colorado State University, our research has shown that 200 watts of car audio system power will compensate for approximately 1 inch of missing penis length. For example, if one's penis is 2 inches too short, he (or she) should consider adding 400 watts of additional power to their system. And remember: every time you're cruising around Palo Alto with the top down and your system up, there'll be a student somewhere putting in study time at the library. It won't be me, though. I'll be out cruising around with my system up. I hope this helps you find answers to life's car audio questions.
